Designated child safety contact
Free to Hang's designated point of contact for child safety, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) concerns is info@freetohang.com.
1. Zero tolerance for CSAE
Free to Hang has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. We prohibit any content, behaviour, profile information, messages, images, links, or activity that depicts, promotes, solicits, enables, normalises, or facilitates the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors.
2. Prohibited conduct
Users must not use Free to Hang to:
- Create, upload, share, request, or distribute CSAM or sexual content involving minors
- Groom, coerce, threaten, blackmail, exploit, or sexually solicit a minor
- Sexualise minors in messages, profile content, images, links, or plans
- Attempt to move a minor to another service for exploitative or sexual purposes
- Evade safety enforcement after a warning, suspension, or account removal
3. Reporting child safety concerns
Users can report child safety concerns in-app through the "Contact the founder" function under Settings. Anyone can also report urgent or sensitive child safety concerns directly by emailing info@freetohang.com.
Reports should include relevant details such as usernames, screenshots, message context, and the reason for concern where it is safe and lawful to provide them.
4. Review and enforcement
We review child safety reports as a priority. Where we identify CSAE, grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, or credible risk to a child, we may remove content, restrict features, suspend or permanently terminate accounts, preserve relevant evidence where legally permitted, and report the matter to appropriate authorities.
5. Cooperation with authorities
We cooperate with law enforcement, child protection organisations, app stores, and other trusted safety partners where required or appropriate to protect children and comply with applicable laws.
6. Age requirement
Free to Hang is intended for users aged 13 years or older. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we will remove the account and associated personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7. Continuous improvement
We periodically review these standards, product reporting flows, moderation practices, and enforcement outcomes so Free to Hang remains aligned with child safety expectations and legal requirements.
